Do you remember the names of the continents and the oceans in the world? The land is roughly divided into seven continents, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. I always think why Europe and Asia are reckoned as two different continents. According to this book, Europe and Asia are joined but their lands and people are so different from each other thus they are divided into two parts. Opps!! I forgot Antarctica. I wonder why the Arctic doesn’t be counted as a continent. The names of three oceans are Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest one. The Atlantic Ocean is the second-largest and large amounts of gas and oil are brought forth from the sea floor of the Atlantic. The Indian Ocean is the only ocean in which currents change direction seasonally. The currents flow westward whereas they flow eastward in summer.
