BR 2-13: Finding the Titanic


But on its first voyage in April 1912, the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank. (p. 5)

Do you know the Titanic? It is very famous as the film based on the true story. The Titanic was once the largest ship in the world, and the ship was gorgeous like a palace. It was said that the ship was unsinkable, but the Titanic sank because of crashing iceberg. When the accident happened, over two thousand people had been on the ship, and most of them died. The survivors were arrived at New York City harbor, several days later after the Titanic sank. This book “Finding the Titanic” is described on one of the survivors Ruth Becker’s story.
