This book showed us why the environment is important and how it can improve local cultures. The Green Belt Movement is getting wider in Africa. The movement was started in Nairobi by just one woman named Wangari Maathai, and then, the movement spread to its neighbor countries. In addition to that, the movement has still been enlarging its scale. Effect of forestation isn't just to produce oxygen. Forestation also effects many plants and animals on the different side. I think that we should consider the environment and protect it more seriously.
